With the release of their first Album (Mèsi, 1995) Batwel Rada started at the top of the thriving World Music scene of Cambridge, Massachusetts. They quickly received a Boston's Phoenix nomination for Best World Music band and was often the subject of full-featured articles in the music section of the Boston Globe and other local newspapers. With their second CD, this group of Haitian expatriates and their American co-conspirators has definitely reached the full measure of their musical and lyrical maturity.
